MedX is recognized as the Gold Standard for treating and reducing chronic back pain and dysfunction through specific spinal strengthening. Over the last 15 years, the Universities of Florida and San Diego, along with various orthopedic clinics around the world, have published some of the most compelling research to date. This research shows that specific spinal strengthening exercises using the MedX Lumbar and Cervical Extension Machines help people get better, even after multiple failed attempts at other forms of treatment.
I came to PDR after learning I had, at 43, major degeneration in 3 areas of my back, 2 bulging discs, 1 torn and arthritis…at MY age? I thought…I don’t want to do surgery, wasn’t an option, cortisone was, but I didn’t want to go there either, so I turned to PDR, where I learned new techniques and core strengthening exercises that helped improve my pain and help me live my life to it’s fullest! Thank you everyone!!

Yes. Since we have so many facilities, MEDX allows us to easily communicate with everyone on one secure platform so workflows have improved across the board -- especially for urgent messaging. Some of our providers only work certain days, so it helps because we can send them an urgent message through MEDX rather than a message through the EMR which providers are not always able to access immediately. With MEDX, they can receive these urgent messages instantly and then go to the EMR to enter notes of the urgent situation they just handled -- saving time and additional steps.

Transporting work comp patients to and from medical visits, PT, IMEs, hearings and the like is a big business – big for worker’s comp that is. At first blush, it looks like a perfect opportunity for Lyft and Uber (L/U)- they’ve got a gazillion drivers everywhere, a great service model, and they are much less expensive than the traditional work comp transportation services. In fact, […]

In the upcoming midterm elections, voters in Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District will have the choice of Dan Lipinski, the Democratic incumbent, or Republican candidate Art Jones, a white supremacist Holocaust denier who, by way of self-endorsement, claims he hasn’t been a card-carrying member of any Nazi groups since 1980. If voters find that choice unappealing, there’s also Justin Hanson, a young lawyer who’s mounted a write-in candidacy as an independent based on the premise that nobody should vote for a Nazi.
MedX is the only equipment company with a short one foot weight stroke. Most companies’ weight stroke is two or more feet. What that means is that the weight stack movement of only one foot on a full-range repetition is safer and smoother than the competition with a longer weight stroke. Another reason the shorter weight stroke is important is that if you have 120 pounds on the one foot weight stroke machine, then that means you are moving 120 pounds. On the other hand, if you have 120 pounds on a two foot weight stroke machine, then you are really lifting about 240 pounds depending on the machine. That also means that if you increase the weight by two pounds on a one foot machine, you really are increasing it by two pounds, whereas on a two foot machine you are raising it by five pounds which equates to a 10 pound increase.

“There is such a danger in too much assumption in politics,” he told Splinter. “Would you not have assumed that either major political party would not knowingly allow a guy like Art Jones to run unopposed on a ballot? If you threw $10,000 and a garbage can in a primary you’d beat him. But the Republican party just didn’t and nearly 21,000 people unknowingly voted for a bad guy. They let those people down.”

When using the MedX Lumbar Extension Machine the deep lumbar muscles are isolated by stabilizing the pelvis and legs. The machine is also able to compare a patient’s strength with normative values, meaning we can see how strong or weak you are compared to people the same age, height, weight, and gender. Although everyone is different, these numbers help us establish a baseline to identify deficits and evaluate how effective the treatment is.
MEDX is different because it is designed by physicians, nurses and ancillary healthcare personnel. The purpose of MEDX is to securely exchange both user generated and non user generated protected health information (PHI) between all staff involved with handling PHI. This will not only improve clinical decision-making, but also enhance care workflows, ultimately resulting in cost savings and better patient outcomes. MEDX is a unique communication system because it can unite healthcare systems from within and also bridge outside systems together.
Manual wheelchairs come in many different varieties depending upon the user’s needs. There are standard folding chairs, sport wheelchairs, lightweight chairs, heavy duty chairs, reclining chairs, and transport chairs. A standard folding wheelchair is a good choice if you tire easily and can’t walk as far as you used to or are unable to walk but would like the option of arm propelling. These chairs have options such as desk vs. full arm styles, footrests vs. elevating leg rests, and seat height adjustment on some models.
In January 2018, he became the only Republican candidate for Illinois's 3rd congressional district, despite that party's repeated disapproval of him gaining this position, as well as the controversy around him being a candidate.[13][14]. Despite the GOP disavowing, 26.5 percent of voters still voted for him in the general election on November 6, 2018, as he lost by 47 points.
