The ingenuity behind MedX’s success in helping patients become pain free and regain functionality is its ability to isolate the deep muscles of the spine during strengthening exercises. MedX equipment is designed to accurately test your low back and neck, identifying existing or potential problems. Precise measurements of range of motion, strength and endurance are then compared to established norms. This allows us to accurately assess your spine in a number of different ways and takes into consideration the individual needs of the patient. This leads to fewer flare ups of symptoms and a much easier rehabilitation process.

ZERO STARS!  MEDX turned us over for collection without ever sending us a single billing statement, letter requesting payment, or attempting to contact us, even though we had insurance. When we were contacted several years after our daughter's leukemia treatment by the collection agency MEDX uses, we repeatedly asked for documentation such as date & description of service, provider identity, billing statements and nothing was ever provided. 4 years later an almost $2000 lien shows up on our credit report. All efforts to obtain supporting information--even the name of the doctor/provider  have been unsuccessful, and we were told by the Vice President that we could either pay half the bill, or they will let it stay on our credit report.
Provides resistance over a full range of isolated lumbar and cervical motion, or over a selected limited range. Isometric testing may occur every 3° within a patient’s range of motion MedX software plots a strength curve to compare the patient’s strength and range of motion to established norms. Stored energy can be assessed and factored out at each angle tested. Needs new software.
If you’re looking for respiratory equipment, mobility equipment, bathroom safety equipment, or any other types of home medical supplies, X marks the spot at XMED Oxygen and Medical Equipment. Patients are seated comfortably in the MedX cervical or lumbar machine. In the cervical machine, the muscles in the torso are restrained so that only the muscles in the neck are targeted. Because the cervical muscles in the neck must continually support the weight of the head, weak muscles can lead to headache, neck pain and poor posture mechanics. In the lumbar machine, the muscles in the abdomen, hips and legs are restrained so that only the muscles in the low back are targeted. Weak lumbar muscles can be responsible for back pain, leg pain, stiffness and many other debilitating complaints. The exercises performed in the Med-X cervical and lumbar machines are slow, gentle, take just a few minutes to complete and are computer monitored.

Racial animus helped fuel the rise of Donald Trump. Since the end of the civil rights movement and under Republican strategist Lee Atwater’s “Southern strategy” that used racism as an unstated cudgel against Democrats, the Republican Party itself has played a welcoming host to racial tensions and fears. Simultaneously, it has depicted itself, as conservative columnist Jeff Jacoby put it in 2012, as “the party of color-blind equality and “a party that doesn’t think with its skin.”

MedX is a comprehensive rehabilitation program that incorporates the sports medicine approach to the treatment of chronic neck and back pain. The MedX machines are specially designed to provide the most effective means of isolating, safely testing, and directly strengthening the muscles in the low back and neck. The MedX program also incorporates general strength and fitness building activities that are supervised by a licensed physical therapist to ensure the patient's safety and progress. The primary goals of this program are to improve range of motion, improve muscle strength, decrease pain, and return the patient to normal function.

Transporting work comp patients to and from medical visits, PT, IMEs, hearings and the like is a big business – big for worker’s comp that is. At first blush, it looks like a perfect opportunity for Lyft and Uber (L/U)- they’ve got a gazillion drivers everywhere, a great service model, and they are much less expensive than the traditional work comp transportation services. In fact, […]

Jones, who campaigned for the same seat in the 2016 primary, was removed from the ballot that year after the Illinois Republican Party found paperwork errors and filed a successful objection to his candidacy with the state Board of Elections. The GOP tried to do the same this election cycle, but Jones had cleaned up his paperwork. He also appears to have kept a low profile, collecting signatures to meet eligibility requirements by going door-to-door and then waiting until the Dec. 4, 2017, deadline to file. If only others had noticed.
Unlike other spine strengthening exercises that involve muscles in the arms, abdomen or legs, MedX targets only the muscles responsible for maintaining the alignment and anti-gravity properties of the spine. Poor spinal strength, alignment and compression due to spinal weakness lead to pain. Patients hoping to avoid surgery or those who have undergone surgeries for back and neck pain but are still suffering have been receiving positive results after only a few sessions with MedX.
A power wheelchair is a wheelchair that is propelled by an electric motor rather than manual power.  Motorized wheelchairs are powered with rechargeable batteries and the user will control the mobility with a joystick.  The chair will move in the direction that the joystick is pointed.  Motorized wheelchairs are useful for those that may not be able to manually propel themselves or who may need to travel longer distances.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, it takes thousands more signatures to get ballot-approved as an independent candidate than as a Republican; Jones therefore ran in 2016 as a Republican, but the party disavowed him and found technical reasons for removing him from past ballots.[4] Again according to the Sun-Times, Jones took countermeasures in 2017 and 2018 for which the party was unprepared, and so his appear on their ballot despite official Republican disapproval.[4]
