Nobody else ran as a Republican in the primary because politics is a results-oriented business and the chance of a Republican winning are slim. The boundaries were drawn by Democrats to elect a Democrat. Rep. Dan Lipinski, the incumbent, will face Marie Newman in the Democratic primary, and one of those two will win on Nov. 6. There are other Democratic strongholds in the Chicago area featuring a lone Republican. It can be a Maytag repairman-like assignment.

MedX™ treats and reduces chronic back pain and dysfunction through specific spinal strengthening exercises using the MedX™ Lumbar and Cervical Extension Machines. Pressure on the spinal column causes pressure on nerve roots, which in turn, causes pain. MedX™ focuses on increasing strength, decreasing pressure on spine and nerve roots, ultimately decreasing pain. It also reforms inflexible scar tissue into a more normal functional scar. In simple terms:

James grew up on the family farm in the quaint town of Inkster, North Dakota where he was a 3-sport athlete throughout his high school career; competing in football, baseball, and basketball. During life on the farm, his father taught him the disciplines of sowing and reaping that continue to serve him well today in all aspects of his life. James would eventually be inspired to pursue a career in medicine by his mother and sister who are both Physical Therapists, and who would show him the gratification of helping people recover from pain or injury. After graduation, James went on to play college baseball for the University of Mary, and, to begin his formal studies. He then attended the University of North Dakota (UND) where he received his bachelor’s degree in Pre-Physical Therapy, with a Minor in Psychology. James went on to enroll in the university’s School of Medicine & Health Science where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After completing two, nine-week clinical sessions in the fun, family-like atmosphere at RehabAuthority, James knew the company was a perfect fit to launch his PT career. He now practices out of the Homedale Clinic, and is highly motivated to help his Patients get back to enjoying their daily lives free from physical limitations.
Injury can also be caused by doing the wrong type of exercises. Exercise done with great force, strain not only the muscles, but the joints and the connective tissue. In one single instant of great force one can sustain an injury that will heal. Those injuries often come back to haunt you. The injured joint is never quite the same as it was before the injury.

In what Eldon likes to call his “other life,” he has been a professional musician and singer-songwriter for many years, though he has scaled this back significantly since opening the first Midwest RehabAuthority clinic in 2011. He was a national finalist in the 2007/2008 Colgate Country Showdown, and placed 2nd out of 50,000 contestants across the nation, performing at the world-famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. He also works as the Contemporary Music Coordinator at his church. Eldon enjoys exercising and watching/playing sports of all kinds, with a special love for football. He is married to his beautiful soul mate, Amy, with whom he has two children, Isaac and Clara Jean, as well as one step-son, Jacob.
Jones is no mystery candidate. He’s run for the U.S. House numerous times. He’s campaigned to be a Chicago alderman, Chicago mayor and Milwaukee mayor. There’s nothing to prevent a provocateur from seeking office, of course, but winning an election, even a Republican primary in a district rigged to elect a Democrat, is an honor he befouls. It’s a shame Illinois Republicans weren’t paying closer attention.
A graduate of Idaho State University’s 1995 Masters of Physical Therapy program, Paul has spent the last 18 years sharpening his skills as a therapist. Having practiced in hospitals (Pocatello, ID; Elko, NV; Bullhead City, AZ), a Worker’s Compensation specialty clinic (Tempe, AZ), and other sports medicine facilities have allowed for a broad exposure to the practice of physical therapy. His early passion for sports brought him from Southern California to Caldwell and the College of Idaho.
Kevin was raised in Yakima, WA. He attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and his associates in Physical Therapy Assisting. Kevin has always enjoyed exercising and it was while working on his Exercise Physiology degree he discovered his interest in understanding the mechanics of the body and Physical Therapy. He is excited to be at Rehab Authority and further that understanding. In his free time Kevin enjoys going on hikes with his wife, playing disc golf, taking his dog on runs, and creating his own board games.
For almost 30 years, I was misdiagnosed by doctors. I was told to prepare for my life as a disabled person. I couldn’t give up, so I went in search of answers on my own. It was a blessing when I found PDR. The doctors and staff found what was wrong in one visit. Two years later I am living a normal life. This has been a second chance I never thought I would have. Today I am 95% pain free and loving life again. I can never thank all of you enough.
The ingenuity behind MedX’s success in helping patients become pain free and regain functionality is its ability to isolate the deep muscles of the spine during strengthening exercises. MedX equipment is designed to accurately test your low back and neck, identifying existing or potential problems. Precise measurements of range of motion, strength and endurance are then compared to established norms. This allows us to accurately assess your spine in a number of different ways and takes into consideration the individual needs of the patient. This leads to fewer flare ups of symptoms and a much easier rehabilitation process.
Pete is a firm believer in physical therapy having been a patient several times himself, and enjoys working with patients with a wide variety of diagnoses to help them achieve their functional goals and improve their quality of movement. He is also dedicated to continuing his education and is currently working toward his McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy Certification (Cert. MDT).
MedX is recognized as the Gold Standard for treating and reducing chronic back pain and dysfunction through specific spinal strengthening. Over the last 15 years, the Universities of Florida and San Diego, along with various orthopedic clinics around the world, have published some of the most compelling research to date. This research shows that specific spinal strengthening exercises using the MedX Lumbar and Cervical Extension Machines help people get better, even after multiple failed attempts at other forms of treatment.
MedX’s data recording and processing software allows operators to safely and accurately determine a patient’s physical limitations and show improvements in neck and back strength. The software calculates accurate range of motion and muscle strength at numerous joint positions by factoring out torso mass, stored energy, tissue compression and/or joint elasticity, and a lack of reasonable effort by the patient. Reports can be generated showing comparisons between age-matched and/or gender-matched norms. MedX’s computerized reports offer physicians, therapists, patients, and their insurance company’s accurate, quantifiable data to use in determining a patient’s level of disability at the beginning of treatment, and their degree of improvement at the end of treatment. Improvements in isolated neck and lower back strength have been shown by extensive research to correlate with increased improvements in quality of life and increased function.
Isometric testing may occur every 3 degrees within the patient’s range of motion. During the test, the software plots a strength curve that allows a comparison of the patient’s strength and range of motion to age and gender matched norms. It also has the ability to detect a lack of reasonable effort by the patient. Various reports can be generated for individual patients and selected patients groups or categories for outcome tracking purposes.
Photobiomodulation (PBM) is an effective, non-invasive, drug-free solution that has no known side effects. It has been used as a means for reducing pain and speeding healing for over 30 years. Professional clinicians trust MedX PBM to stimulate the body’s natural repair processes at the cellular level. There are a number of benefits to using MedX PBM rather than other electro modalities. It is more efficient because there are no messy conduction mediums and time consuming setups, and more than one site can be treated at the same time. Patients are comfortable during treatments, and more likely to complete a series of treatments in order to benefit from the accumulative effects of light. Patients whose health issues can be challenging to treat, such as circulatory problems and nerve impairments, have shown that PBM is an effective way to achieve better outcomes.
As an exercised based rehabilitation specialist, Paul employs manual techniques such as myofascial release and soft tissue and joint mobilizations to help restore normal rhythm and balance to affected joints and promote improved mobility. The evidence based approach at Modern Rehab allows Paul and others to move forward with confidence that the treatment administered is the standard of practice, not only here in Idaho, but across the country.
Dwayne Wimmer founded Vertex Fitness Personal Training Studio in 2001, excited to bring a new concept about personal training to the people of Philadelphia’s Main Line in Pennsylvania. Driven by knowledge and results both, while a strength coach at Villanova University, he worked closely with world class athletes such as Brian Westbrook, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles, on strength training and conditioning for optimal performance. Dwayne’s client base extends much further than world class athletes. Along with athletes, he works with adolescents to seniors, and he’s a highly acclaimed and sought out personal trainer who has received numerous awards, such as Best of the Main Line Personal Training Studio and Best Main Line Personal Trainer. Through efforts and a driving passion to bring the “professional” to the fitness industry, Dwayne co-founded the Fitness Leaders Alliance in 2013, which is an organization dedicated to the training of more highly qualified personal trainers. Its focus is on ethical business practices, scientifically proven methods, and the realization that continuous learning is important in the fitness industry. A graduate of Missouri Western State University, Dwayne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, with an emphasis in Coaching. Aside from personal training, he’s spent time as a physical education teacher, strength and conditioning coach, and a football coach, but has found his passion and home in the fitness industry, inspiring and reaching out to others. As a strong believer in continuing to learn, Dwayne has also taken classes at East Stroudsburg University toward a Masters Degree in Sports Management. Since June of 2013, Dwayne has co-hosted the podcast, “The Fitness Professional Show.” This provides a wonderful platform to help with his goals of creating a more professional fitness industry. And now, he can add author to his list of accomplishments, having created a chapter in the upcoming book The Soul of Success with Jack Canfield, renowned for the Chicken Soup series. To get to the point where he is now, Dwayne has always been thankful for the support of his father, a man who always believed in his mission and saw the need for what it was that Dwayne envisioned. During his free time, Dwayne is an avid motorcyclist who enjoys viewing the amazing landscapes and finding good restaurants to enjoy that are off the beaten path. He also takes advantage of opportunities to travel and experience many other cities while attending fitness seminars and giving presentations about the industry he is so passionate about. As a way to give back to the community that has been a part of his entire life, Dwayne has created Vertex Fitness PUMPED (People United Making Progress through Education and Donations), which provides support to area non-profits through a community-wide outreach effort. At this time, they help three non-profits per year in the Philadelphia area. I needed to tell just one sentence and diagnosis was established and then also confirmed by imaging techniques. Neither the orthopedic specialist nor the radiologist I had visited before, had identified the herniated disc. They told me to do some sports and that surgery would not help. Immediately after the surgery in the ATOS clinic, my symptoms disappeared and I was also pain free. Absolute number 1 address for spinal disc problems.

Jones, who campaigned for the same seat in the 2016 primary, was removed from the ballot that year after the Illinois Republican Party found paperwork errors and filed a successful objection to his candidacy with the state Board of Elections. The GOP tried to do the same this election cycle, but Jones had cleaned up his paperwork. He also appears to have kept a low profile, collecting signatures to meet eligibility requirements by going door-to-door and then waiting until the Dec. 4, 2017, deadline to file. If only others had noticed.
Eldon is also credentialed as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor, through the American Physical Therapy Association. The Jewish lobby has Donald Trump locked up. I don’t think the man realizes how naive he appears to the rest of the world. He’s nothing but a puppet in their hands. And we were foolish enough to send this naive, Jew-loving fool into the White House. I’m embarrassed that I voted for him. I’m sorry I voted for him. If I could take the vote back, I would in a minute.
In Lake Helen, Florida, Jones built a $75 million corporate headquarters, which incorporated sound stages, film editing rooms and two homes. His privately held company had an estimated reported annual income of $300 million and was regarded as the largest manufacturer of exercise machines in the world. Physique legends John Grimek, Steve Reeves, Bill Pearl, Sergio Oliva, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franco Columbu, Boyer Coe, Mike and Ray Mentzer and Casey Visator made their pilgrimage to meet the cantankerous tycoon and to train on Nautilus equipment.
Yes. Since we have so many facilities, MEDX allows us to easily communicate with everyone on one secure platform so workflows have improved across the board -- especially for urgent messaging. Some of our providers only work certain days, so it helps because we can send them an urgent message through MEDX rather than a message through the EMR which providers are not always able to access immediately. With MEDX, they can receive these urgent messages instantly and then go to the EMR to enter notes of the urgent situation they just handled -- saving time and additional steps.

"I've been broke more times than I care to count and I still made the Forbes Fortune list of the 400 richest by the mid-1980s. When I sold Nautilus Sports/Medical Industries in 1986, I owned a large farm located north of Ocala, Florida. The 350 acres of prime real estate housed the largest privately owned airport. including three Boeing 707 airliners and the largest exclusively owned collection of exotic wild animals. My menagerie consisted of 100 African Elephants, 4,000 crocodilians, three albino rhinos and Micky, my 400 pound pet gorilla."

MedX rehabilitation machines are precisely adjusted to each individual patient during the first therapy session. The back or neck muscles are gradually strengthened leading to long- term success for the patient. There are many devices and exercises which claim to strengthen the spine, but they have been disproved with scientific testing. The precision and isolation of MedX rehabilitation makes it far superior to conventional rehabilitation methods.
